Whether your specific event includes colleagues, neighbors, friends, or family, CommonPlace is eager to help you bring them together. We offer space reservations as well as catering packages for pick-up orders and in-house meetings and events.

Our Spaces

  • The perfect spot at CommonPlace to have a private meeting. Our meeting room is free to reserve during regular shop hours. Since we do not charge for use, we do request that no outside food or drink be brought in during meeting room use. CommonPlace will be happy to work with you to provide catering options or you can simply order from the bar.

    • Nothing may be attached to the walls except with painter’s tape.

    • Hanging decorations from the ceiling must be approved in advance and hung only from approved hooks.

    • Please check with a CommonPlace representative before bringing in additional lighting or sound equipment.

    • No open flames, fireworks, or party poppers.

    • Please avoid decorations that are difficult to clean up, such as confetti, rice, birdseed, glitter, silly string, or hay/straw.


  • If you are reserving the meeting room, we kindly ask that all food and beverages be purchased through CommonPlace, as the meeting room is complimentary.

    If you are renting the entire building, outside food and catering are welcome. CommonPlace also offers a variety of budget-friendly catering packages if you’d like to keep everything in-house.

    If bringing in outside food, please note:
    • There are no prep areas available (no refrigerator, freezer, oven, cooktop, microwave, or washing sink).
    • Please bring your own ice, as our ice maker can be a bit finicky.

    • CommonPlace does not provide or serve alcohol.

    • Alcohol service must be discussed in advance and approved in your rental agreement.

    • The renter must provide all alcohol, servers, and materials independently of CommonPlace.

    • CommonPlace reserves the right to stop alcohol service or end an event if over-serving or unsafe behavior occurs.

  • Smoking is not allowed inside the building and is discouraged outside.
    If guests must smoke, please ensure they are away from entrances, including the drive-thru window.

  • Animals are not permitted inside CommonPlace unless they are trained service animals.
    If you expect a service animal, please let us know in advance. The renter is responsible for any cleanup or damages.

    • Our lot includes 20 parking spaces plus one handicap spot.

    • For larger events (50+ guests), overflow parking is available at Dogwood Veterinary Clinic by prior arrangement.

    • We’re happy to help with creative parking solutions if needed!

  • Customer is in charge of all clean up. If excessive cleaning or repairs are required after your event, an invoice will be sent with documentation and justification.
    Specialized cleaning equipment (e.g., carpet cleaner) or repairs will be billed to the renter.
